Feeling welcomed in such a luxurious setting is amazing, even if the room wasn't ready when expected. The hotel staff were friendly and attentive, but some dining options seemed booked up too quickly. An enjoyable experience that's hard to beat for quality and comfort.

the restaurant was amazing for lunch, i tried casual dishes. a mini-bar, a flat-screen tv with cable channels, and climate control were available in the room. the location was magnificent, within a close distance from dr sun yat-sen museum. i would recomand this hotel, spent here special 2 nights.
Not one thing.

Couple's retreat worth every penny
The staff were great like when they surprised us with a bottle of champagne to celebrate our anniversary. Also the views from our club room, overlooking the bay, were nothing short of amazing.
It wasn't exactly cheap but every bit was worth it.

The room was unbelievable, fantastic bathroom and anteroom, and the high tech remotes worked perfectly, something hotels almost never get right. This hotel rocks!!

Apart from the comfort they provide, I have been staying in this hotel since the 60's when my parents took us for the first time to Hong Kong.
The young hotel staffs are not as polite nor knowledgeable as their seniors. They could have said "sorry..we made a mistake" when they messed- up with our room selection upon arrival.

I stayed in the City View Twin Room for two nights. The room was decent but didn't have that standout luxury feel I expected. It was clean and had nice touches, but the comfort level was just okay. The view was a bit underwhelming compared to what I've seen in other Mandarins. Perhaps it's just the vibe of HK, but I wanted more warmth and coziness in the space.

Location is excellent
Room design not great, the redesigned rooms at the Mandarin have lost some of it's character in my view. Restaurants are still what you would expect.

luxury stay with a few concerns
The staff provided really good service throughout my stay. The intricate details in the decor created a luxurious ambiance. The location was superb, offering easy access to popular attractions. During my visit, I appreciated the magnificent harbor view from my room and the elegance of the interiors.
I was surprised to see a significant amount of litter in the area outside the hotel.
